Zwei Bartgeier ausgewildert
Am 29. Mai 2016 wurden in der Zentralschweiz zwei junge Bartgeier ausgewildert.Die beiden Vögel sind rund drei Monate alt. Es sind zwei Bartgeiermännchen mit den Namen Alois und Cierzo. Die beiden kommen aus der andalusischen Bartgeierzuchtstation Guadalentin. Sie wurden auf der Melchsee-Frutt im Eidgenössischen Wildtierschutzgebiet Huetstock ausgewildert.
Der Verlauf der Auswilderung kann in einem Bilderblog der Stiftung Pro Bartgeier verfolgt werden. Seit 1986 sind so 130 Junggeier in die Freiheit entlassen worden.
